Water is the elixir el life. It takes many forms - rain, lake, river, ocean. It charts its own course, overcoming all obstacles with patience and persistence.

The Three Ps of success – planning, perseverance and patience – apply nowhere better than to the endeavor to restore balance and harmony to our lives. That process begins with reclaiming the balance of our natural surroundings, with giving back what we receive.

Take rainwater, for example. Harvesting this precious resource at the micro – as well as the community – level is not only feasible, its easy. Dedicating a fixed percentage of water consumed to recharging the ground water will pay rich dividends in the long run. And using gravity instead of electricity to supply water to individual homes is an energy-free, creative – and above all sensible – way to approach distribution issues.
