SPACE, Aakasha
Space has no shape or form. It is infinite. It is eternal. It surrounds us and sustains us, yet our senses can neither perceive nor define it. Space is the basis of our cosmos, the essence of our being.

In today’s crowded world, the limitless quality of space remains elusive. To most of us, however, it is an essential part of daily life. Space is sacrosanct to us; it is the imperative that defines how we utilise our land, deploy our resources, and live our lives.
Optimising the use of space allows nature to become a seamless part of our lives, and vice versa. With fewer homes per acre, for example, and each home occupying just a traction of the space that surrounds it, it is possible to create an environment that allows breathing space amidst urban sprawl. We get the chance to revive the almost-forgotten tradition of living simply and in harmony with our surroundings.
Smart spatial planning, however, involves more than just downsizing the development footprint. It takes a deep knowledge of advanced technologies, a thorough understanding of sustainability issues, and the ability to accurately analyse impact. |
